POST DOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE IN IMAGING SCIENCE
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a talented researcher to join the Imaging Sciences Research Group at the University of Manchester. We are looking to appoint a researcher to strengthen the Strategic Alliance in medical imaging between the Group and AstraZeneca. Work within the Strategic Alliance covers biomedical imaging physics and data and image analysis. The skills of the successful applicant will therefore ideally cover both areas, or will complement existing expertise within the Alliance via collaboration with existing Strategic Alliance research staff.
You will be involved in developing and implementing novel data acquisition and/or analysis methods. You will also be expected to work with clinical and other colleagues to design and support research studies and to contribute significant intellectual input into future projects.
You will have a good honours degree in a numerate, or possibly a biomedical discipline, complemented by a postgraduate qualification and relevant research experience. The post is funded until end 2013.
